Raw files deleted after processing

The Data Collection setting
Storing the last 4 digits of an account number is optional. Turn it off in your settings and KernelCash stops keeping them.

Transactions only arrive when you upload a file or enter them yourself. Each file is processed in the background and then deleted.

Does KernelCash connect to my bank?
No. KernelCash has no bank connection at all: no Plaid or other aggregators, and no bank passwords. You download a transaction file from your bank's website and upload it to KernelCash.
What happens to my uploaded file?
It is processed in the background, typically within a couple of minutes, and then the raw file is deleted. Duplicate transactions are skipped and changed ones are updated, so re-importing an overlapping date range is safe.
Do you store my account numbers?
No. KernelCash never stores routing numbers or full account numbers. At most it keeps the last 4 digits to help you tell accounts apart, and only if you allow it in the Data Collection setting.
Do you sell my data?
No. KernelCash will never sell your data.
